George Ekmetsoglou


George is the director of the company and has more than 15 years of experience in the food market and hospitality.

He is also the owner of Hellenic Food Market, a company based in United Kingdom.

HFM is focusing on imports and distributes pre-packed food and ingredients from Greece, ensuring that the products and services comply with the UK law and quality standards.

Ilken Pirra


Ilken has almost 10 years of experience in various coffee shops and restaurants in Crete, one of the best summer tourist destinations in Europe.

For the last years Ilken has been working in the construction industry, gaining valuable experience in building, renovations, and project management.

His experience and knowledge will be valuable for any investor that is looking to open or renovate a shop.

Dimitris Tampakis


Dimitris’ background as a scientist, researcher for more than 10 years helped him focus on the quality and business market.

His family produce various traditional quality Greek products including extra virgin olive oil, olives, oranges, tangerines, honey, and a variety of Mediterranean herbs such as oregano, thyme and rosemary.

The majority of these pure ingredients will be part of Philoxenia’s signature food menu.
